Disturbing a hive without the proper gear and know-how can provoke hundreds of defensive bees at once, which is a genuine danger to your family and pets, and a serious risk for anyone who is allergic. Leaving a hive in place is not the answer either, because abandoned honeycomb can melt, stain walls and ceilings, and attract ants, cockroaches, rodents and wax moth long after the bees have gone.
We assess the situation first, confirm whether you are dealing with honey bees or something else like wasps, and then remove the colony safely using the correct equipment and methods. Where the hive is accessible and the bees are healthy, we aim to relocate them rather than destroy them.
